Nneka's father is Nigerian (she was born in Nigeria) and her mother German (she currently lives in Germany); she sings , mostly, in English with strong influences from R&B, reggae and hip-hop.The reviewer from MusicOMH.com probably has the most accurate description: There's a lot to recommend in Nneka's third album, though if it was slightly shorter, it could be considered a great album rather than merely a good one." The album is 15 songs and almost an hour long. There are seven songs I'd call great and the rest are good to very good.
