Genre: Witch House or Grave Wave
Okay, so it's it's a style more than a genre. But I couldn't resist when I discovered it as a description of Grimes (the alias of Vancouver native Claire Boucher.) It's also a pretty apt description of the slightly haunting, intense, electronic dance music, accompanied by a wispy vocal track.It's not for everyone, but if you're feeling a little adventurous, or if you just like House Music or electronica, I could suggest you check out the official videos for Nightmusic or Oblivion.
